چکیده

The purpose of this work was to prepare chitosan–essential oil microcapsules using the simple coacervation method and graft them onto cellulosic fibers obtain bio functional textile. morphology characterized by optical microscopy. 2D dimethyloldihydroxyethylene urea resin (DMDHEU) used as a binding agent on surface fibers. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) photographs Attenuated Total Reflectance-Fourier Transformed Infrared (ATR-FTIR) analyses were performed prove interaction between microcapsules. Furthermore, properties different fabrics such mechanical strength air permeability investigated. washing durability evaluated. Finally, antibacterial activity finished against strains Escherichia coli (E. coli) Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) results evidence ability treated induce bacteria growth inhibition. is process incorporate cinnamon essential fiber’s surface. use oils active agents seems be promising tool for many protective textile substrates antimicrobial masks, bacteriostatic healthcare textiles.
